Power Rangers Prime Vol. 1

With over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Melissa Flores is a multi-hyphenate storyteller who writes, develops, and produces diverse entertainment across TV, film, comics, podcasts, and gaming.  A former Executive at Saban Brands and Hasbro, Melissa played a key role in revitalizing and expanding beloved properties for new generations. Since then, she has continued her storytelling journey as a writer and producer. She’s developed projects for Stray Kite Studios, Dark Slope, MGA, and Picture Start, among others. 

Melissa also wrote and co-created the innovative live-action RPG superhero series The Unleashed and is the founder of KaChoppa Productions, where she develops and produces new stories that center diversity, identity, and empowerment.

A rising star comic book writer, Melissa has written for Marvel, Image Comics, Boom! Studios and Oni Press, on such titles as her own creator-owned series The Dead Lucky, as well as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Radiant Pink, Spider-Gwen: Smash, Biker Mice From Mars and many more, including the new ongoing hit Power Rangers Prime.

Melissa also voices the characters Kat Ranger and Gia Moran in Power Rangers: Battle For the Grid, and lives in Los Angeles with her girlfriend and a full house of two cats and two dogs.

Michael Yg is the only son of two artists from Beijing. He sharpened his skills on lots of short comics and video games before breaking into American comics with Iron Fist. His style is a fusion of both Eastern and Western art practices with heavy influences from the greats such as Akira Toriyama, Alex Ross, and Greg Capullo. He lives in Beijing with his wife and cat. When not drawing he’d hit the gym or ride with his biker gang.
