The Kwon Cousins Don't Need a Babysitter

What if your best friends lived right next door? Meet the Kwon cousins! A day with the Kwons promises adventure, surprises, and laughs, in this new illustrated series for young readers by Jessica Kim.

On their sunny San Diego cul-de-sac, the Kwon cousins are never bored. There are big homecooked family dinners in the backyard on Sundays, and Jia (11) tries to maintain order as Eugene (7) secretly keeps a revolving menagerie of rescue pets, Nick (10) investigates every bump in the night, and twins Mina and Minji (8) fire Nerf darts around every corner.

When Jia volunteers to babysit her cousins while their parents attend a wedding, she’s determined to show how responsible she is. Since she’s small for her age, people don’t take her seriously and this is her chance to finally change that. But managing everyone’s personalities and her expectations is difficult. A calm night turns into a cousin adventure that takes them all around town after their pet parrot goes missing. Can Jia get everyone back home before the adults find out and she's never put in charge again?
