Award-winning author Lani Muelrath, MA, CGFI, CPBN, FNS—the Plant-Based Fitness Expert—specializes in helping people who struggle with weight and energy transform their bodies and their lives—without going hungry or grueling, excessive exercise. She has been teaching in health, fitness, and wellness for more than four decades, including as a guest lecturer in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University and an associate professor in Kinesiology at Butte College. Domyo Sater Burk has been a student of meditation for 20 years. Ordained as a Soto Zen priest in 2001, she had seven years of residential training at Dharma Rain Zen Center and was empowered to function as an independent Zen teacher in 2010 by Rev. Gyokuko Carlson. In addition to Zen meditation, Burk has experience with mindfulness and all the various forms of Buddhist meditation, and has developed a profound respect for the power of meditation to help people access their inner peace, balance, and wisdom.
