Daren King is the author of the children's books Mouse Noses on Toast and Sensible Hare and the Case of Carrots. He is also the author of three adult books, Jim Giraffe, Tom Boler, and Boxy an Star, which was shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award and longlisted for the Booker Prize.
