Liz Williams is based in Glastonbury, England, where she is codirector of a witchcraft supply business. She has a PhD from Cambridge University in the history and philosophy of science. She is the author of Compendium of the Occult: Arcane Artifacts, Magic Rituals, and Sacred Symbolism.
