Penguin Random House is home to the world’s greatest storytellers, with more than 15,000 titles released each year. From the industry’s buzziest fiction to cookbooks by Michelin-starred chefs, we publish something for everyone. And we know nobody has a greater love of stories than our librarian and library staff readers.

Beginning this spring, we’re launching #PRHLibraryPal—our Penguin Random House Library Marketing Influencer program.

What is the #PRHLibraryPal Program?

Our new influencer program is designed to get ARCs into the hands of librarians and library staff with active Bookstagram accounts.


How do I become a #PRHLibraryPal?

In order to be considered, you must be a current library staff member with a public Bookstagram account. You must have an active library email to be eligible. All public, school, academic, and specialty library staff are welcome to apply. Please note, filling out an application does not guarantee program acceptance.


When is the program deadline?

Applications are due by Monday, March 25 2024 11:59 PM ET.


How do you determine program acceptance?

We will be looking at the following:

  • Current Library Employment
  • Bookstagram Activity and Engagement
  • U.S. Residency
  • Must be at Least 18 Years of Age

If I already receive ARCs from PRH Library, can I still apply?

Yes! If you’re already on a PRH Library Marketing galley mailing list, you’re still welcome to apply, given you meet the eligibility requirements.


How will I know if I’ve been added to the program?

After the deadline closes, each month, we will reach out to your library email with a request form. You’ll have the option to pick from a selection of print ARCs* across our Penguin Random House adult imprints and its client publishers. Please allow up to 4 weeks for shipping.

*While materials last depending on title availability.


I’ve been accepted! What do I do when I receive my titles?

Congratulations! Please tag us @PRHLibrary on Instagram and use the hashtag #PRHLibraryPal! Please also tag the relevant imprint and author. Per FTC guidelines, please use #GiftedCopy if you choose to post our books to your feed or stories.


Can I reapply if I didn’t get accepted?

Yes! If you don’t make this round, follow us for updates and stay tuned for second round applications. Those accepted this round do not need to reapply.


I’m not a library staff member, but I’d still like to receive ARCs. Are there other programs I can join?
