In this second book of her series, Joss Kendrick is always looking for new ways to soar.

When the cheer team needs a new flyer, Joss can’t wait to step up (literally). Her high-flying skills on her surfboard and skateboard make her a natural for the role. But when her skateboarding act at the talent show turns into a total catastrophe—make that a dogtastrophe—Joss loses her confidence all around, even at the cheer gym. The cheer competition is coming up fast, though, and her team is depending on her to nail a tricky stunt. The problem is, Joss doesn’t trust them not to drop her. She wants to do an easier stunt, but if she plays it safe, can her team still win? And if they don’t, will her team ever forgive her?

This audiobook includes a downloadable PDF containing a glossary of cheer terms, skateboarding terms, and surf terms heard throughout the story.
Erin Falligant was a cheerleader, like Joss, when she was in high school. But unlike Joss, Erin had to work hard on her jumps. And while Joss dreams of meeting a famous surfer, Erin dreamed of meeting a famous author—long before she wrote her first book. She has now written more than thirty books for children, including contemporary fiction, historical fiction, advice books, and picture books. She has a master's degree in child clinical psychology and volunteers for the Madison Reading Project in her home state of Wisconsin.
