Your favorite cast of retired witches is back, but this time there's trouble brewing.
The witches of Anderson House have picked up their wands and gotten back on their brooms, and it's a good thing too: it's all hands on deck to prepare for the annual spring festival. Cakes are baking, magic is flying, and most importantly, tea is brewing.
But in the hustle and bustle of preparations, a terrible accident means that something more than baked goods is escaping the kitchen of Anderson House. And he's determined to cause mischief. Can the witches find him, and stop him, before the whole festival is ruined?
Join Myrtle, Mei, and their magical broom-mates in the second book of this spellbinding new series, created by the enchanting duo of Jennie Poh and Dave Lowe.
Dave Lowe grew up in a town called Dudley, in England. He has lived in Turkey and Malaysia and now lives (with his wife, two teenage daughters and a mini sausage dog called Ted) in Brisbane, Australia.
Jennie Poh was born in London, England, and spent her formative years in Malaysia, returning to the UK at the age of nine. Having been inspired by the Rainforest of Borneo and the Norfolk countryside, Jennie feels a deep connection with nature and conservation, which influences her work. Jennie now lives in Surrey with her two daughters and Pru, her marmalade cat.
Jennie Poh studied Fine Art at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design, alongside illustration courses at Central St Martins, before becoming a children's book author and illustrator. She was the 2021 Giverny Book Award Winner and the 2023 Mom's Choice Award Gold Recipient.
