Jane Espenson is a writer and producer for television. Espenson was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, and won a Disney Writing Fellowship in the early '90s. Espenson started her writing career as part of the sitcom Ellen, and went on to work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, Once Upon a Time, and a number of other television shows.
