Victor Gischler comes to Marvel Comics from the world of hard-boiled crime fiction. His debut novel, Gun Monkeys, was nominated for the Edgar Award; his novel Shotgun Opera was an Anthony Award finalist. For Marvel, he has written Punisher: Frank Castle MAX, Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool Corps, X-Men and more.

Award-winning playwright Jim McCann has written for film, animation and daytime television. For Marvel, he has written New Avengers: The Reunion, Hawkeye & Mockingbird, Hawkeye: Blindspot and Zombies Christmas Carol, and contributed to the one-shot Dark Reign: New Nation. He and artist Janet Lee created the Eisner Award-winning surreal graphic novel Return of the Dapper Men.

Peter David is one of the industry’s most prolific and versatile writers whose record-breaking stint on Incredible Hulk remains a fan-favorite to this day. His similarly long-running — and critically acclaimed — association with X-Factor began in the early 1990s and continued in 2005. His other Marvel work includes Captain Marvel, two lengthy stints on Spider-Man 2099, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider and the smash-hit Symbiote Spider-Man limited series with artist Greg Land. David is also a novelist and screenwriter. Among his credits are some forty Star Trek tie-ins; original novels such as Sir Apropos of Nothing, Howling Mad and Knight Life; movies Trancers 4 and Trancers 5; and episodes of Babylon 5 and Crusade. He also co-created the TV show Space Cases with actor-writer Bill Mumy.

Multitalented Filipino artist Bong Dazo has been a guitarist, textile designer, animator and graphic designer, but his true love is comic books. Dazo has illustrated numerous titles — including The Irregulars and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for Dark Horse, and Micronauts for Image. For Marvel, he has handled art chores on Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth, Secret Invasion: War of Kings and Thunderbolts during the “Magnum Opus” crossover with Deadpool.

Artist and cartoonist Kyle Baker was born in Queens, New York City, in 1965, and gained his first comic-book industry experience while a high-school intern at Marvel Comics during the early 1980s. Within the next five years, Baker emerged as a distinctive cartoonist through his comic strip Cowboy Wally (which was republished as a graphic novel); and his work on Classics Illustrated: Through the Looking Glass, original graphic novel Why I Hate Saturn and graphic novel Birth of a Nation (with Boondocks’ Aaron McGruder and Black Panther writer Reginald Hudlin). His writing and art have also graced DC Comics’ Plastic Man series, Dark Horse’s The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist and MAD Magazine. Baker’s non-comics work includes National Lampoon, The New Yorker, Vibe, and animation for BET and MTV. He also turned his family into comic strip characters with The Bakers, a strip about his family life. His work has earned a total of eight Eisner Awards and four Harvey Awards.

Barcelona-based artist David Baldeon began his professional career at Spanish publisher Planeta DeAgostini. Later moving to an animation studio, he served as a storyboard, layout and key-background artist, as well as a director of several storyboard and concept-art teams. He has worked for DC Comics on such titles as Robin and Blue Beetle, and Marvel on Nomad: Girl Without a World, Young Allies, Avengers Academy Giant-Size, Zombies Christmas Carol and Scarlet Spider. Baldeón joined Gerry Duggan on Nova, chronicling the adventures of young hero Sam Alexander, and illustrated series including Ben Reilly: Spider-Man and Domino. He won acclaim with his collaboration with Leah Williams on X-Factor.
