Journaling helps me deal with all that life throws at me, both joys and sorrows. To write my innermost thoughts with pen and paper (yes, the old-fashioned way!) is a priority, whether it be the highlights of my day, things that make me thankful, or prayers I lift to God, to name only a few. I’ve journaled my entire life and have reaped the rewards from this daily discipline. My hope is that by using this journal, you will also see the benefits of putting a pen to paper, of taking a thoughtful look at your life as you may never have done before.
This is a journal about planting a garden—a garden in which these fruits are grown: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Along the way, we’ll discuss weeding, watering, and fertilizing your own soul, so that you can be a blessing to others while harvesting wonderful benefits for yourself.
I’m humbled to have you join me in this process of looking inside your heart and gardening your soul. Grab your gardening tools—your pens and coloring utensils—and let’s dig in!
Warmly,
Debbie
