A person's mental health simply means how they understand their own thoughts, feelings, actions, and interactions with others. Sometimes our mental health is positive, and other times it's not. Dr. Katie Lingras (she/her) is a child psychologist who is passionate about improving the lives of young children and their families. Like Mr. Rogers, Dr. Katie thrives on making hard topics “mentionable” for kids and grownups. Dr. Katie lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her family, and supports her own mental health by singing, running, and adventuring around the world!
