Daniel Davis is an American actor who was born in 1945 in Gurdon, Arkansas. Performing onstage and screen for nearly 50 years, he is best known for playing Niles the butler on the popular comedy series The Nanny. Davis has also narrated the Star Wars audiobook Darth Plagueis.
