Inspired by the “Booker of Bookers” award to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Man Booker Prize (and the “Best of The Bookers” to celebrate the 40th), we are celebrating the third year by having library staff vote on their favorites from the October 2015 through September 2016 lists. (You may vote even if you’ve never nominated a title, and no Edelweiss or NetGalley account is needed.) Starting Friday, October 8, we invite library staff to vote on their 10 favorite titles from the long list of all 110 titles; the top 25 of vote-getters will then move on to the short list, for another round of votes.
The ten top vote-getters will be released on December 1 as the “Favorite of Favorites” list, with the number one favorite, by votes, taking the top place on the list. The “Favorite of Favorites” list will take the place of the traditional December list, with the top nominations for titles due to be published in December 2016 and January 2017 appearing together on the January 2017 list.
Voting for the Longlist ends on 11/1 and Voting for the Shortlist ends on 11/15!
