Anne Hathaway, Oscar-winning actress, has signed on to star and produce a limited television series adaptation of journalist Jennifer Steil’s novel The Ambassador’s Wife, a harrowing novel about the kidnapping of an American woman in the Middle East and the heartbreaking choices she and her husband each must make in the hope of being reunited.
In a Facebook post, Hathaway said “Love this book so much I went and got the rights to it! It’ll be coming soon to a T.V. near you. In the meantime, please pick it up- it’s a great read.”
