Do you know an educator who fosters in students a passion and love of reading? Nominate him or her for the 2015 Penguin Random House Teacher Awards for Literacy!

The award recognizes the nation’s most dynamic and resourceful teachers who use their creativity to inspire and successfully instill a love of reading in students. The awards are open to full and part-time teachers in public schools across the United States. An evaluation committee of selected Penguin Random House executives, authors, and educators will review all applications and determine the final awards winners.

Awards consist of $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 grants payable to each teacher’s respective school to help make their innovative reading programs possible. In addition, donations of $2,500 in Penguin Random House titles will be made to the winners’ respective schools.

The application submission deadline is May 1, 2015.
Winners will be announced by October 1, 2015 and posted at:
www.RandomHouse.com/TeacherAwards.
