There just seemed to be a little something different about ALA, Annual this year- there was a bit of extra energy,  more excitement, more authors in our booth than in the past few years and of course…so many great books being discussed!

ALA 2012

Perhaps it was Random House’s incredible line up of authors; from James Gleick to Ernie Cline to Ransom Riggs to Nancy Pearl to the entire hour where our booth was filled with writers and artists from DC Comics!

( The complete list of Random House authors in attendance.)

…Maybe it was because we all go to go to Disney Land before the opening of the show and reverted back to our childhood as we waited in line for It’s a Small World and tried to get on as many rides as possible during our short visit.

I am not sure if there really is one reason,  but it really was a very fun ALA and  we hope you enjoyed ALA, 2012 as much as we did.

Take a look at some of our favorite photos from the conference.

Always let us know if there were ARCs that you missed out getting in the booth, and we can either lead you to an e-galley, or we can try and find you an extra copy here in the office.  We would love to hear from you what your best moments were, and of course what books you are most likely to buzz about!

Another ALA in the books…
