Lisa Unger @ PLA 2012
HEARTBROKEN: A Novel by Lisa Unger is a shattering new thriller about the ties that bind. It is the mesmerizing story of three women on a collision course, of an island haunted by dark memories and restless ghosts, and of the all-too-real demons we must battle. Part thriller, part ghost story, part meditation on what holds us together and keeps us apart, this is a riveting tale of family dysfunction and a ticking clock of bad deeds and even more sinister outcomes. Be sure to come out and meet Lisa at our PLA events!

But do you know the history of the Philadelphia Tea Party (December 1773)? How about the York, Maine, Tea Party (September 1774) or the Wilmington, North Carolina, Tea Party (March 1775)?
Looking forwarding to seeing you all at PLA soon:)
As an adult fan of Carl Hiaasen, his books and his philosophies on life, there is nevertheless a problem…he wrote a children’s book (“Hoot”) which was a success. Up to that time, the only problem I had with the fact that it took so long for him to write a new book was his love of fishing. Now we adults are up against his love of fishing AND his new hobby, namely that of writing books for children. My life needs more Hiaasen…the withdrawal symptoms are not pretty!
