It came to my attention this morning that today is the day after The Day when, according to Terminator 2, the computers of Skynet became “knowing” and set off a chain of events that led to the war between man and machines. So watch yourself today. Don’t blend anything. Don’t place your iPhone near your kitchen knives.

Also, don’t forget to stock up on your Terminator collection. Titan Books has a whole series, and now that SkyNet is conscious, patron demand might rise (just like the machines!)

I’m afraid of my Nu-wave oven. How does it cook frozen steaks in 15 minutes? There has to be something sinister going on.
I think ANY of my appliances becoming sentient would be frightening but probably especially the vacuum cleaner. I’d hate to have that thing chasing me around the house!
My blender, it’s one of those 13-speed things. It simply frightens me when using it. But it does crush ice, doesn’t help the fear though.
