I’m the only one in my department who hasn’t read this book, so I should really get on it, I’m thinking. It IS a young adult novel… For girls… But still, there are zombies, and it has an awesome title. Seems creepy from the book trailer (below).
Anyway, film rights to this book were sold the other day according to PW. I hear it could be a good movie…maybe even a series. There’s another awesomely-titled book coming in 2010 from Carrie Ryan: The Dead-Tossed Waves.
I feel like this Forest role would be great for Christina Ricci if she were still young enough. But hey, Dakota Fanning is getting creepier every day.
