Here’s an interesting piece of first fiction if there ever was one. David Eagleman, a neuroscientist by trade, has written 40 fictional interpretations of the afterlife, ranging from the utter dullness to fantastic spectacle. Thus far, it’s garnered nice attention. The Wall Street Journal gave it a full-page review last Friday, NPR’s Talk of the Nation interviewed him Tuesday (see an excerpt and listen to the audio here), and PW gave it a starred review back in November.
Even though we all know that heaven is a library, it’s fun to hear someone else’s deluded opinions sometimes. Check this one out, and become a fan on Facebook!
