If you have this one in your library, chances are it’s well worn, written-on, cola-stained, etc.. Sandra Cisneros’s landmark book is one of the most widely adopted texts in history–up there with Catcher in the Rye and Lord of the Flies–and therefore probably one of the most checked-out in school libraries.

Time for a new copy, maybe? It is, after all, the 25th anniversary of its publication this year. In celebration, Vintage and Vintage Español have repackaged this classic with high style. So if your library’s copy is getting a little “mushy,” there’s no better time to replace it!
