A few good speakers

We just got some footage back that our Academic Marketing department took at the First Year Experience conference in Orlando. The First Year Experience program is employed at many universities as a way to get the first-year students at a given school interacting with one another. Needless to say, there is much crossover for One Book programs.

This year (as it has been in the past), we had several great speakers at our FYE luncheon, including the infinitely popular Tracy Kidder, John Elder Robison, Donovan Campbell, Michael Greenberg, and Louise Steinman. They’ve all written very smart, very discussable books that would be ideal for a reading group or a One Book program.
